Here’s a song we wrote with 4th graders called “Tear My Mask.” It features Randy Kaplan on vocals and Howard Levy on harmonica (from Béla Fleck and the Flecktones). It’s taken from our upcoming album Maybe By Next Year which is a collection of songs written with kids (virtually) and recorded during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The album will be released December 3rd.

Buy on Bandcamp: https://kidpanalley.bandcamp.com/track/tear-my-mask-feat-randy-kaplan

I’m gonna tear my mask
into little bitty pieces
Burn it to ashes
Do just as I please as
Take a vacation
Lie on the beaches
Hang out with friends
I’m sick of these diseases

When this is all over
Gonna go see the world
Swim in the ocean
Create a commotion
Go over to your house
Hang out all day
Nothing will stop me
I’ll do it my way

I’m gonna be so happy
Gonna feel so free
See all my friends
Be together again
Try new things
Turn off the screen
When this is all over
I’ll feel like me

I’m gonna tear my mask
into little bitty pieces
Burn it to ashes
Do just as I please as
Take a vacation
Lie on the beaches
Hang out with friends
I’m sick of these diseases

I’m gonna tear my mask
into little bitty pieces
