Pinchas Zukerman • Amanda Forsyth • Natalia Zukerman

In remembrance of those who gave their lives

Inspired by the book: Maya Lin: Artist-Architect of Light & Lines

Written by Paul Reisler, Natalia Zukerman & 4th grade, Pocahontas Elementary

After reading a book about Maya Lin and the Vietnam Wall Memorial as part of Kid Pan Alley’s Singing Their Stories literacy program, the children responded by writing a song about what they’d read.

Our friends, world renowned violinist, violist, conductor, and multiple Grammy winner Pinchas Zukerman, and cellist Amanda Forsyth recorded the song with us. The Los Angeles Times called Zukerman, “A virtuoso: expressively resourceful, infectiously musical, technically impeccable, and effortless.”

The song honors those veterans who have served our country. May they always be remembered.
