Kid Pan Alley: Music

Rainforest

(Kid Pan Alley w/ Darrell Scott)
by Paul Reisler & Mr. Javors’ 2nd grade class, Paragon Mills Elementary
The kids were studying the Rainforest that week so we thought we'd make up a song about a trip to the rainforest
We all went to the rainforest, one rainy afternoon
We saw a cheetah wearing alligator shoes
We saw a cat named Bob and a big bullfrog
And a weird old wackaboo

It’s sure a lot of fun in the Rainforest
Swinging from the moldy old trees
Everything’s so squishy in the rainforest
Tarantulas, bats and monkeys
On the forest floor, there’s lots of stuff we’ve never seen before

We had a picnic in the rainforest
We ran some races too
The python wore a feather boa, ooh, ooh
We swung from the trees and we danced with the bees
And we waltzed the wackaboo

It’s sure a lot of fun in the Rainforest
Swinging from the moldy old trees
Everything’s so squishy in the rainforest
Tarantulas, bats and monkeys
On the forest floor, there’s lots of stuff we’ve never seen before
